The Town Council of Sant Bartomeu del Grau has begun construction work on four new waste drop-off areas, which will be added to the existing ones and complete the network for the new collection system in the municipality.

The new areas will be located at Roc Llarg, la Codina, la Serra, and on Passeig del Grau, below the schools and the Town Hall. These will be added to those already built in the car park on the carretera de Perafita and in plaça Nova.
Once the works are completed, the transition to the new collection model will begin. The Town Council will inform citizens about the system's details, its operation, and the steps required for adaptation.
The works have been awarded to the company INGENIERIA CONSTRUCTORA MANRESANA, SL, for a total amount of €338,074.00. The project is part of the general investment program of the Diputació de Barcelona, which contributes €213,803.44 in funding.
