The Anton Carrera Library in Sant Julià de Vilatorta will host a practical Nordic walking workshop on Wednesday, October 21st, led by Antonio Brieba, a specialist in the field.

The activity, aimed at all ages, will begin at half past nine in the morning and will be divided into two parts. The first, theoretical in nature and lasting 40 minutes, will focus on explaining what Nordic walking is, its health benefits such as muscle strengthening, balance, and joint care, as well as the correct use of poles.
Subsequently, for 90 minutes, an outdoor practical session will take place. Participants will be able to take their first steps, practice the technique, and experience how this activity helps combat a sedentary lifestyle in an enjoyable and fun way.
The practical part costs €5, and the necessary poles will be provided by the organizers. Pre-registration is required for the activity.
