The Vic City Council has supported the Hospital de la Santa Creu de Vic Foundation (FHSC) and the Osona Assistance Foundation (FADO) with a grant of 25,368 euros for two social projects.

The projects aim to enhance the well-being, autonomy, and quality of life of individuals, addressing the prevention of unwanted loneliness and access to adapted personal hygiene.
FHSC will receive 14,496 euros for the project "Autonomy and Dignity: Community Assisted Hygiene Points". This initiative will establish two points equipped with intelligent Showee showers to facilitate dignified and safe personal hygiene access for the elderly, dependent individuals, or those with functional difficulties. It will also include support and guidance for caregivers.
Meanwhile, FADO will receive 10,872 euros for a project focused on preventing unwanted loneliness and promoting the autonomy of vulnerable elderly residents in the municipality. This project includes workshops at the Sant Jordi Day Center and home care actions, aiming to reduce isolation and foster social participation.
