The municipality of Aramunt, located in Pallars Jussà, hosts the 3rd Pyrenean Oil Fair on February 7 and 8 to promote agricultural innovation and the cultural value of high-altitude olive oil.

This annual event consolidates Aramunt as an undisputed benchmark for mountain olive oil, driving agricultural innovation and the appreciation of olive heritage. The program begins on Saturday, February 7, with a series of technical sessions at the social center of the Molí d'oli d'Aramunt (Aramunt Oil Mill).
During Saturday morning, the innovation space will host a talk on the automatic detection of olive quality using artificial intelligence. In the afternoon, the fair will be officially presented, followed by the presentation of the book Oli de Muntanya. La tradició i la cultura oleícola al Pallars (Mountain Oil: Tradition and Olive Culture in Pallars).

This comprehensive approach underscores the importance of mountain oil as a key economic and cultural driver for the Pyrenean region.

On Sunday, February 8, the fair opens its doors to the general public with the Pyrenean Oil Fair held in the exhibition tent. Visitors can explore stalls offering oil, agricultural machinery, and agri-food products.
The Associació de Productors d'Oli del Pallars (Pallars Oil Producers Association) will organize a tasting of local variety oils at the Molí d'oli d'Aramunt. The day will be complemented by a fair breakfast, a castellera exhibition (human towers), a concert, and family activities, including traditional games for children.
