The Maria Barbal Public Library in Tremp has opened its doors to "Texts and Textures. Literature by Maria Barbal and Textures by Palmira Rius", an exhibition that merges literary creation with contemporary textile art.

The exhibition proposes a unique connection between the literary universe of local writer Maria Barbal and the textile production of artist Palmira Rius. The inauguration was attended by both creators and welcomed by the mayor of Tremp.
The exhibition is structured around twelve literary quotes selected by Barbal herself, which serve as the basis for twelve original textile pieces created by Rius, offering a plastic interpretation of the writer's work.

"The Maria Barbal Public Library hosts the exhibition Texts and Textures. Literature by Maria Barbal and Textures by Palmira Rius, a dialogue between literature and contemporary textile creation."
