The man, who had previously been reported twice for similar offenses, was caught during surveillance operations. The local regulation allows for the catch of two trout per fisherman per day, a significantly lower number than the 22 fish the offender possessed.
In addition to exceeding the maximum catch number, the trout also failed to meet the minimum authorized length of 22 centimeters. Among the confiscated fish were specimens measuring 19, 20, and 21 centimeters.
The fisherman was also not complying with the requirements of his river fishing license, as he had not marked the fishing days, a mandatory procedure. Furthermore, he was using hooks and bait not permitted in the fishing area.
