The Diables ARF 'colla' of Mollerussa has commenced the celebration of its 40th anniversary with an event in the Plaça Major, honoring its trajectory and commitment to local culture.

The Diables ARF (Artística Revolució del Foc) group from Mollerussa has reached the milestone of forty years since its foundation in 1986. To commemorate this anniversary, the entity has scheduled various activities throughout the year under the motto «La flama que no s’apaga» (The flame that does not go out).
The kick-off for the celebrations took place last Saturday, coinciding with the festivities of Sant Isidori. The event, held in the Plaça Major, brought together current and historical members of the 'colla', who took the opportunity to emphasize the profound meaning of their activity. According to the entity, being a 'diable' goes beyond the pyrotechnic spectacle, representing a path of commitment, friendship, and a sense of belonging to the community.

Being a 'diable' is not limited to fire or spectacle, but represents a way of street, commitment, friendship, and belonging.

During the event, emphasis was placed on the importance of community and the responsibility involved in «carrying the pitchfork», highlighting the bond created between members and the 'colla', to the point of becoming a shared identity. Over the years, the Diables ARF have consolidated their presence as an indispensable part of Mollerussa's festive events, such as the pyromusical show that inaugurates the Festa Major (Main Festival) or the Gran Tronada.
One of the most emotional moments of the day was the remembrance dedicated to those who are no longer with us, but who were part of the 'colla's' history and, symbolically, remain present in every outing and every spark. The event served to celebrate the present and to acknowledge the work of those who paved the way. Reference was also made to two figures from their bestiary: the Mula Guita Gipeta, recovered in 2009 and originally created in 1986 by Pepito Isanda and Ferran Garcia, and the Guspira, the most recent piece, forged in 2018. For the remainder of the year, more proposals have been announced, such as a gathering of 'colles' and a graphic exhibition that will review these four decades of history.
