This year's fair has seen a 6% increase in participation compared to last year, hosting a total of 240 exhibitors. During the opening ceremony, officials emphasized the strategic importance of the farming sector and the need for dignified agricultural policies.

Marc Solsona, president of Fira de Mollerussa, called for a stronger Catalan voice in European agricultural decisions. The fair also sets a record for professional training, offering 24 technical sessions for industry experts.
The event continues on Friday with the opening of the 45th Automobile Show by Minister Jordi Hereu. The fair will conclude on Sunday with a closing ceremony led by the Minister of Agriculture, Òscar Ordeig.
