The Lluís Coromina Isern Foundation has unveiled at the ARCO art fair in Madrid the preliminary project for a new House Museum-Arts Center to be built in Banyoles.

Designed by architect Josep Miàs, the 1,500-square-meter facility will be located in the Mas Castell area. The building's organic bird-like shape is designed to integrate into the four-hectare natural surroundings. The museum will display 2,000 works from Lluís Coromina Isern's private collection, including pieces by Salvador Dalí and Jaume Plensa.

"It will be a project with a significant impact due to its uniqueness, as it relates nature with the arts."

Construction is expected to start in 2027 and conclude by 2029. The foundation is currently in talks with public institutions to secure further support for the project.
