The summer season at the Flix municipal pools officially begins this Sunday, June 7th, with an open day and free access for all citizens. The facility will initially be open from 11 AM to 8 PM until June 23rd. Subsequently, from June 24th to August 17th, the hours will extend from 10 AM to 8 PM, and from August 18th to September 6th, the facilities will be operational from 11 AM to 7 PM.
This year's main innovation is the introduction of digital season tickets with QR codes, a step towards digitizing municipal services. These new tickets can be managed from a mobile phone via the eÀgora app (in the “Flix” section) or in person at the municipal offices. However, family season tickets and those with special discounts must be processed in person during this initial season to ensure correct documentation validation.
P-10 season tickets can be purchased at both municipal offices and directly at the pools, while daily tickets will only be sold at the facilities. Additionally, this year, payment by bank card is being introduced at the pools, a service not previously available.
Regarding pricing, season ticket costs have been updated: 32 euros for individuals aged 9-15; 35 euros for individuals aged 16-26, seniors over 65, and pensioners; and 44 euros for adults aged 27-64. The family season ticket costs 90 euros for three members, with an additional 10 euros per extra member. Large families will benefit from the 4-member family rate. The P-10 ticket, offering 10 entries, will cost 25 euros.
Daily entrance tickets are free for children under 9 years old. For others, prices range from 3 euros (ages 9-15) to 4.80 euros (ages 27-64), with 3.60 euros for individuals aged 16-26, seniors over 65, and pensioners.
For safety reasons, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to enter the premises, and children under 10 require constant adult supervision in the beach area.
Furthermore, during heatwave periods activated by PROCICAT, the municipal pools will serve as climate shelters, offering free entry and bus service.
