The Institute for the Development of the Ebro Regions and the l'Aube organization launched an educational program this Friday in Móra d'Ebre to preserve traditional agroforestry mosaics.

The project started at la Llanterna theatre with students from Lluís Viñas, Jeroni de Moragas, and Santa Teresa schools. Through workshops, children learned how balanced human activity helps manage natural resources and prevent wildfires.

"The goal is for knowledge to reach the new generations, who will be responsible for the agroforestry mosaic of the future."

Ismael Bentieb · Project Director at l'Aube
Around fifty workshops will be held across fifteen schools in Ribera d'Ebre, Terra Alta, and Baix Ebre. The initiative aims to highlight traditional trades as essential tools for regional resilience in the face of climate change.
