The Railway Museum in Móra la Nova has obtained the railway operator license for historic trains, allowing operations on the General Interest Railway Network.

This authorization will make historic railway tourism projects a reality, such as the Tren de l’Ebre (Ebro Train) or the Tren del Vi (Wine Train), which aim to enhance the scenic and wine tourism values of the area stretching from the Costa Daurada to Casp.
To achieve this goal, the facility created the company Ferrocarrils Històrics de l’Ebre S.A a few months ago, with the purpose of obtaining the necessary permits to operate historic tourism products.
This milestone makes the company based in Móra la Nova the first in Spain with a railway operator license exclusively for historic passenger trains.
The permit, which has a European scope, was officially granted by the Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Ferroviaria (AESF - State Railway Safety Agency).
