The twelfth edition of the Ruta de la Tapa Porca starts this Friday in Móra d'Ebre, bringing together eight local establishments to offer pork-based culinary proposals until January 25.
The event, which coincides with the Sant Antoni Winter Festival, is considered an emblematic gastronomic initiative in the capital of the Ribera d'Ebre region. This year, the route stands out due to the participation of eight establishments, including new additions such as bars, coffee shops, farm shops, and local restaurants.
The culinary offerings are varied, ranging from tacos, waffles, and pinchos to dishes approaching haute cuisine. The main goal is to promote local consumption and generate direct economic benefits for the hospitality sector during January, a traditionally challenging period.
“
"Despite the typical low winter temperatures, we encourage you to go out and discover the new tapas that have been incorporated this edition. This route not only enriches Móra d'Ebre's gastronomic offer but also generates direct economic benefits for our businesses."
“
"The Ruta de la Tapa Porca is a consolidated event that arrives stronger than ever. We encourage all residents and visitors to enjoy the innovations of the establishments and give a breath of fresh air to our local commerce."
In addition to the tasting, the route includes a competition for the establishment with the most public votes for their tapa. Among participants who complete the pocket passport, three vouchers worth 60 euros will be raffled off to be spent at the participating restaurants.
