The town of Móra la Nova, located in the Ribera d’Ebre region, will become a research hub with the installation of a space technology laboratory featuring five antennas.

The new research and technological development facility will be located on land within the municipality of Móra la Nova. This laboratory is designed to support Catalonia's growing aerospace industry, especially following the recent launch of the first European 6G satellite.
The infrastructure will feature a total of five specialized antennas. These antennas will be crucial for communication and experimentation in low orbit, facilitating the validation of new technologies and space services.
This project is part of the Generalitat de Catalunya's strategy to consolidate its own space ecosystem, which includes the mission to put research satellites into orbit, such as the recently launched one, aimed at 6G network research.
