The incident mobilized the Bombers de la Generalitat (Firefighters) and the Mossos d'Esquadra police force to the scene. The heavy vehicle occupied the entire road, with a rear wheel immobilized after crashing into a section of the religious building's wall.

The Firefighters had to use manual tools to free the trailer's wheel, which had not fully opened. Once detached, the driver was able to continue his journey.

As a result of the impact, several rocks detached from the church wall. Emergency teams cordoned off and marked the affected area to ensure the safety of other vehicles traveling on the GI-402 in Gombrèn.
