The Cervera City Council has officially rejoined the Gaudí Cycle this March 2026, restoring a stable Catalan-language film program with monthly screenings at the Francesc Buireu hall.

The project, led by the Catalan Film Academy, aims to bring recent productions to towns lacking regular cinemas. Cervera previously participated between 2017 and 2020 and now returns to strengthen its local cultural scene.

"The Gaudí Cycle represents a great opportunity to bring cinema to towns that currently lack screenings, while promoting Catalan film."

Ramon Augé · Councilor for Culture
The season kicks off on March 12 with the film Frontera, directed by Judith Colell, which won four Gaudí Awards. In April, the program will feature Cesc Gay's comedy Mi amiga Eva, starring Nora Navas.
