A total of 71 Catalan agri-food companies will participate in SIAL Paris 2026, one of Europe's most important sector trade fairs, taking place from October 17 to 21. The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food, through Prodeca, is organizing the joint participation of 36 of these companies.

The SIAL Paris trade fair, held at the Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition center, is a key professional meeting point for expanding commercial contacts and learning about the latest trends in the food industry. The aim of Catalonia's participation is to facilitate contact with international buyers and support the export of Catalan-made food products.
The joint participation under the slogan «Catalonia, where food is culture» will showcase a wide range of products, including bakery items, chocolates, sweets, olive oils, preserves, beverages, meat, and cured meats. This diversity will allow professionals to discover companies with products for different market channels and consumer profiles.
The Fine Food area will host 28 multi-product companies, featuring food specialties and everyday consumer products. Meanwhile, the Meat area will bring together eight companies specializing in meat and cured meats. This sectoral organization facilitates meetings with specialized buyers.
SIAL Paris is celebrating its 31st edition this year and is a globally recognized event for the food industry, combining product exhibitions with the discovery of innovations and trends. The Catalan participation offers a context to present products, maintain contact with clients, and explore new international business relationships.
