The Rodalies and Regionales train service in the Lleida area resumed on Friday, January 23, experiencing major delays and cancellations, causing frustration among travelers.

The reopening of the service, following a two-day halt, was marked by delays exceeding half an hour and the cancellation of some trains, such as the RL3 Lleida-Cervera line scheduled for 8:03 am.
An example of the confusion was the case of RL3 travelers, who were initially told they would take an alternative bus route. However, upon reaching the entrance of the Lleida station, they were informed that the road service was suspended and they would have to wait for the 8:42 am train. This train finally did not arrive until 9:45 am.

"These two days I have been taking the bus, but I arrived an hour late for work."

Uncertainty was palpable at the stations. In Tàrrega, some users chose to arrive early in case they ultimately had to travel by bus. The first train due to arrive in the capital of Urgell from Terrassa, scheduled for 7:00 am, did not arrive until 8:30 am. Trains are circulating with black ribbons as a sign of mourning for the drivers killed in accidents.
