Chef Nil Albert wins the 35th Àngel Moncusí Young Chefs Competition

Young chef Nil Albert, from L'Espurna restaurant in Lleida, has won the first prize at the 35th Àngel Moncusí Young Chefs Competition held this Monday at the Mercat del Pla.

The event, organized by the Lleida Hospitality Federation, featured thirteen contestants aged 18 to 28. Local authorities, including Mayor Fèlix Larrosa, attended the ceremony which highlights the best emerging culinary talent in the region.
The jury praised the technical precision and the modern approach to traditional recipes. Nil Albert's prize includes a dinner and stay at a Michelin-starred restaurant, recognizing his excellence in the kitchen.
