Commuters in Lleida traveled for free this Tuesday morning after a major technical failure in the Mybus computer system prevented bus drivers from charging fares or validating transport cards.

The disruption began at 7:30 AM and lasted until 9:45 AM, directly impacting the morning rush hour in Lleida. During this period, the Mybus software, which manages passenger control and shifts, was completely unresponsive.
The technical error was not limited to the capital of Segrià; it affected several municipalities across the State that rely on the same digital infrastructure for their public transport networks.
To avoid further delays on a day already complicated by issues in the Rodalies train service, bus drivers allowed passengers to board without paying until the system was successfully restored later in the morning.
