The Institut d'Estudis Ilerdencs (IEI) has successfully integrated its extensive bibliographic collection into the Collective Catalog of the Universities of Catalonia (CCUC) this February in Lleida.

This move allows researchers and the general public to access the IEI's graphic, documentary, and library materials through a single digital platform. The initiative strengthens the institution's role as a leader in preserving the cultural and historical heritage of the Lleida region.

"We are highlighting the IEI Library collection, which is extremely interesting, and giving it the visibility it deserves."

Sílvia Farrús · Head of the Bibliographic and Documentary Heritage Service at IEI
The integration includes approximately 33,000 records, with 15,000 of them being unique entries not previously found in the collective catalog. The transition involved migrating data to the Alma management system and adopting the MARC21 international format for better organization.
