La Seu FC climbs to the top of Segona Catalana after victory in Alguaire

La Seu FC has taken the lead in the Segona Catalana Group 5 after securing a vital 0-1 away win against CE Alguaire in the Segrià region this weekend.

The team managed by Ivan Vigo clinched the victory thanks to a goal from Anderson Cayola in the 82nd minute. With 41 points, they are now tied at the top with Juneda, although La Seu still has a game in hand.
In other regional football news, CF Organyà suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Cervera in Tercera Catalana, while CE Oliana lost the local derby against Pobla de Segur 3-1. CF Coll de Nargó also faced a 4-2 loss away at Vilanova de l'Aguda.
Regarding futsal, Atlètic Club La Seu remains second in the Catalan Honor Division despite a 5-6 home loss to Solsona. Meanwhile, Urban Sport celebrated a convincing 2-6 victory over FS Vinaixa.
