The Lleida Municipal Archive has opened the Ricard Viñes Fund Digital Archive to the public, making a significant portion of the renowned pianist's documentary legacy available online.

This initiative, part of the Viñes Year commemorating the 150th anniversary of his birth, primarily aims to preserve and disseminate the material held by the Paeria. The new portal now allows consultation of around a thousand digitized documents, approximately half of the municipal fund dedicated to the musician, with plans to add the rest during the summer.
The project is the result of months of intensive work by the Municipal Archive team. This team has inventoried, cataloged, described, and digitized the 2,000 documents that make up the Ricard Viñes Fund. This collection was donated to the Lleida City Council by the pianist's family between the 1950s and 1970s.
The documentary fund includes a diverse collection: 130 photographs, over 300 concert programs, 98 posters, 147 letters and postcards, 103 musical scores, and 103 literary creations. The latter encompass poetic works, essays, articles, personal reflections, and translations. Additionally, it preserves 27 artworks, seven personal objects, and five pieces of furniture closely associated with the pianist.
