The Lleida City Council's Entrepreneurship Advisory Service confirmed that entrepreneurship is consolidating as an effective path for professional transition and reorientation in the city. Data from 2025 shows that a total of 90 people received support to start their projects.
Regarding the user profile, 56% of those assisted were women, and most are in the 30 to 45 age range. It is relevant that 63 of these individuals were already employed, seeking to diversify or improve their job situation.
Nearly 75% of the projects presented correspond to the service sector, also highlighting the increase in initiatives driven by unemployed individuals and self-employed people looking to consolidate or reorient their business.
The service maintains a positive long-term impact. Over the last three years, 329 people have been assisted. For example, about twenty of the individuals advised during 2024 successfully constituted a company formally.
This action is part of the municipal strategy to support business activity, complemented by other initiatives such as Invest in Lleida and Talento, which seek to reinforce the productive fabric of the capital of Segrià.
