Workers have installed the platform for the new concrete stairs connecting Ramon Berenguer IV square with the Pardinyes district in Lleida, ten months after the old ones were removed.

The construction company, commissioned by the Generalitat, has begun formwork for the new stairs. The previous metal structure was removed on April 9, 2025, due to severe corrosion caused by electrical interference from the high-speed and conventional rail lines.
The project is part of the new bus station development at the Docs site, involving a 40 million euro investment. The terminal, featuring 28 bays and modernist architecture, is scheduled to open this March.
