The school council of Joc de la Bola in Lleida decided this February to suspend all off-site activities to support teachers protesting against the precarious state of public education.

The first affected activity was a planned visit to the Animac animation festival. The school administration stated that this move aims to highlight the current dissatisfaction within the educational community and the need for better conditions to ensure teaching quality.
This is the second institution in the Segrià region to adopt such measures, following Santa Maria de Gardeny school's decision to cancel its annual trips. Normal activities will resume once an agreement is reached with the Department of Education.
