Lleida to host major forum on the future of the agri-food sector

Experts will gather at Raimat Winery on February 24 to discuss innovation and sustainability in farming.

On February 24, the Raimat Winery in Lleida will host a specialized conference to analyze the transformation and future challenges of the regional agri-food industry.

Organized by the newspaper SEGRE and BBVA, the event titled Future of the agri-food sector in Lleida: Leadership and transformation aims to provide a direct approach to the local agricultural context. The session will be broadcast live on Lleida TV starting at 9:30 AM.
The program includes a keynote by Pep Ruíz from BBVA Research and a panel discussion featuring leaders from Baró e Hijos, Cupasa, and the Ivars Cooperative. They will debate sustainability and competitiveness in the current economic climate.
The institutional closing will be led by Rosa Cubel, Secretary of Food from the Government of Catalonia, highlighting the strategic importance of this sector for the Lleida region.
