The recent release of 23-F coup documents by the Central Government has uncovered previously unknown links between the uprising's protagonists and the Lleida region.

Research shows a military officer from Arbeca was a key aide to Milans del Bosch. Additionally, an intelligence agent from la Torre de Capdella was the only Cesid member convicted for the coup attempt.

"It was a coup straight out of a Torrente movie."

The documents fail to detail meetings between General Armada and leaders like Pujol or Tarradellas, raising questions about whether the most sensitive files from 1981 have truly been made public.
