The Mossos d'Esquadra police force is investigating a fire that completely destroyed a restaurant in Cervantes Square, Lleida, early this Tuesday morning.

Emergency services received the alert at 02:02 AM, and five Fire Brigade units were dispatched to the scene. The restaurant, located on the ground floor of a four-story office building, was entirely gutted by the flames, though no injuries were reported.
Evidence suggests the fire was intentional. This is the second incident at the venue in just a few days; on February 18, another fire broke out in the freezer area shortly after thieves stole cash from the register.
No arrests have been made so far in connection with these events in the capital of the Segrià region, and the investigation remains ongoing.
