The incident took place around eleven o'clock on Tuesday night, when the intrusion alarm system of the equestrian center, located in the Plana de Gensana area of Lleida, was activated. The thieves had forced the access door to the premises.
Several Mossos d'Esquadra patrols were quickly mobilized. While one unit confirmed that the door had been forced, another located three people dressed in dark clothing in a very close parking lot.
After verifying that the description of the individuals matched the alleged perpetrators of the thwarted robbery, the 37-year-old woman and the two men aged 23 and 38 were arrested. All three have various police records.
The detainees will soon be brought before the duty court in Lleida to face charges of attempted aggravated robbery.
