Three people sustained serious injuries this Thursday, March 12, following a head-on collision between two cars on the C-12 highway in Torrebesses.

The emergency services were alerted at 5:42 PM regarding the crash on the Eix de l'Ebre road. Two individuals were trapped inside one of the vehicles and required extraction by Bombers de la Generalitat crews.
Medical teams from the SEM treated the victims at the scene before transferring them to the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital in Lleida. Six fire engines and several Mossos d'Esquadra patrols attended the emergency.
The C-12 road was partially closed, with authorities managing alternating traffic flow, which led to significant delays for commuters in the Segrià region.
