Two men were arrested yesterday at noon in Lleida, accused of attempted homicide, after a flatmate fell almost 10 meters down an inner courtyard following an altercation.

The events took place in a building on Valentí Almirall street in Lleida, where the Mossos d'Esquadra intervened after receiving a report of a dispute. The victim, who suffered a significant fall, was found with multiple traumas and a skull fracture.
The Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) had to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the injured person before transferring him in critical condition to the Hospital Universitari Arnau de Vilanova, in the capital of Segrià. Currently, the Mossos d'Esquadra are conducting an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.

The fall into the void occurred after a fight between the three individuals, who are flatmates.

This event is reminiscent of another similar incident that occurred on April 3, also in Lleida, where a dispute between flatmates ended with one of them being stabbed. That episode took place in a residence on Avinguda de València, in the Cappont neighborhood, and resulted in the arrest of one of the individuals involved.
