A severe wind episode hit Catalonia this Thursday morning, with gusts exceeding 100 km/h in several locations across the territory, significantly impacting the Lleida region and the coastline.

According to Meteocat weather stations, wind speeds surpassed 100 km/h in areas such as Lac Redon and Montsec d'Ares. In the city of Lleida, gusts reached approximately 60 km/h, consistent with measurements in Cervera.
The highest value was recorded at Puig Sesolles in Montseny, reaching 167 km/h. Other notable records include 114 km/h in Molló and 105.1 km/h at the Port of Barcelona.
