RCD Espanyol B, following their win against Girona B, faces Atlètic Lleida, the last-placed team, this Sunday, January 11, at 6 PM, looking to maintain their positive momentum.

The match against Atlètic Lleida will be the second consecutive game the blue and white reserve team plays away from the Dani Jarque Sports City. Raúl Jardiel's team started 2026 with an important away victory against Girona B, and now seeks to repeat the success to consolidate its position in the upper-middle part of the table.
Espanyol B has shown great inconsistency this season, alternating an initial streak of 10 matches without losing (four wins and six draws) with two subsequent consecutive defeats (against Sant Andreu and Alcoià). Currently, the 'Pericos' have gone two matchdays without defeat, placing them in ninth position, five points away from the promotion play-off spots.

Atlètic Lleida has only managed to accumulate 13 out of 51 possible points in 17 matchdays, occupying the last position in the league.

The situation for Atlètic Lleida is critical. The team from the Terra Ferma region, coached by Gabri, has only won two games all season and is going through a very negative dynamic, stringing together six matches without a win, with a balance of two draws and four defeats.
