The Lleida-Alguaire and Andorra-La Seu d'Urgell airports closed 2025 with record figures, totaling 73,008 passengers and 48,394 operations, thanks to the consolidation of commercial routes and the increase in charter flights.

The Lleida-Alguaire airport was the main driver of this growth, recording an absolute record of 42,029 operations, 50% more than the previous year. Passenger traffic reached 53,848 users, the third best historical mark, boosted by the consolidation of regular routes such as Air Nostrum to Palma de Mallorca and summer flights to Ibiza and Mahón.
Another key factor was the collaboration with the Polish tour operator Itaka, with arrivals from Poland, and the launch of charter flights from the territory, including a direct trip to Cairo in September 2025. Furthermore, the return of Quality Travel is expected for the 2026 winter season, connecting the region with Norway and Sweden.
In addition to commercial activity, the Ponent infrastructure stood out for innovation and new facilities. On September 9, 2025, the Minister of Territory, Sílvia Paneque, inaugurated the pilot residence. The airport also participated in European projects such as Niu.link for drone testing and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) systems.
In parallel, the Andorra-La Seu d'Urgell airport registered its historical maximum of passengers with 19,160 travelers, 18% more than in 2024, thanks to regular connections with Madrid and Palma. This growth has led to the planning of a 7,200 m² hangar expansion starting in 2026, as the current 19 hangars are already full.
This Pyrenean infrastructure also finalized an agreement with paragliding operators from Organyà to combine activities and began the construction of a dedicated base for the Grup d'Actuacions Especials (GRAE), reinforcing its strategic role in the Pyrenees.
