Robles Lleida suffered a crushing 54-85 defeat against León yesterday, leaving the team led by Ruben Petrus in a very precarious situation in the second-to-last position in the league standings.

The Lleida team played one of their worst games of the season, resulting in a final difference of 31 points. The match was practically decided by the 5-minute mark, not only due to the 24 points conceded but also because of the poor attitude displayed by the team on the court.
This result keeps Ruben Petrus's squad in the penultimate position with only three victories, just one above the bottom team, TGN Bàsquet, which will be their rival next week. The Lleida players had a very poor start, conceding an initial partial score of 17-28.

"I am very disappointed with the image the team has offered because we have not shown that we want to reverse the situation. In this sense, players who are very important to us have not been mentally well and their effort has not been good either."

The negative dynamic continued throughout the second quarter (10-17) and the third period (13-24), accumulating an insurmountable deficit. Only the final quarter was tighter (14-16), by which time the result was already decided in favor of León, who effectively collapsed the zone and forced many turnovers.
