Mossos d'Esquadra officers arrested two women, aged 25 and 27, this Thursday in Lleida, accused of stealing clothing valued at 435 euros from two stores in the Eix Comercial shopping area.

The events occurred around 3:30 PM on Thursday, when a preventive patrol of the Mossos d'Esquadra in the Eix Comercial was alerted by a security guard. He reported that two women had just stolen clothing from an establishment located in Plaça Sant Joan.
Officers immediately began searching for the suspects in the central area of Lleida. Shortly after, they located them at the intersection of Carrer Major and Carrer Cavallers, carrying two bags full of clothing items.
After confirming that the total value of the clothing stolen from two different stores in the Eix Comercial amounted to 435 euros, the police proceeded with the arrest of the two women, aged 25 and 27.
The detainees were released with the obligation to appear before the judge when required by judicial authorities.
