The town of Arbúcies will host the third edition of the Revolt of the Viscounty of Cabrera this weekend, March 14-15, turning Parc Mongé into a large medieval living history camp.

Coordinated by the Alma Cubrae company, thirty reenactors will bring the Espai Medievàlia to life. Visitors can witness the construction of siege engines, armor maintenance, and daily military life from the Middle Ages through live demonstrations and training sessions.
Key highlights include the Pas d'armes, a tournament where eight knights compete for the sword of virtue. Families can also enjoy traditional games and workshops, such as learning how to dress a knight or participating in medieval archery.
The Museu Etnològic del Montseny – La Gabella will complement the event with specialized workshops like Alquímia d'olors, focused on medieval perfumes, and a lecture on troubadour music by musicologist Antoni Madueño.
