The Mossos d'Esquadra and the National Police have dismantled a criminal organization specializing in violent robberies at homes and businesses, with one of the most notable assaults recorded in Osor.

The police operation has culminated in the arrest of seven people in the provinces of Barcelona and Girona. The suspects are linked to various crimes, including robbery with force, violent assaults with firearms, and drug trafficking. In the specific case of Osor, the perpetrators went as far as restraining the victims inside their own home to carry out the robbery.
The investigation began following a violent assault on a vending machine collection company in Castellón de la Plana. Officers identified a highly organized criminal structure that operated with a functional division of tasks, including lookouts, drivers, and material perpetrators. The group pre-selected their targets in high-income areas.
During the searches carried out on June 19 in Barcelona, l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, and Girona, officers seized imitation firearms, jewelry, high-end watches, and narcotics. Additionally, symbols linked to the Trinitarios youth gang were found at the home of the network's alleged leader.
