The inspections, carried out in establishments within the aesthetic sector, revealed the presence of undeclared products or those introduced without the required legal documentation. Furthermore, items containing unauthorized substances or in poor condition were found, which could pose a health risk to consumers.
One of the most common deficiencies was the lack of proper labeling on many products, making their traceability impossible and hindering the necessary sanitary control to ensure the safety and quality of the services offered. This situation complicates the identification of the origin and composition of cosmetics.
As part of this operation, the Blanes Local Police processed fifteen reports for various administrative infractions. These were primarily related to trade, consumer, and public health regulations, underscoring the importance of compliance with current legislation in these sectors.
Concurrently, the Labor Inspectorate and Social Security conducted their own checks to ensure adherence to labor regulations. In this area, several irregularities were also detected, indicating potential non-compliance with the working conditions of employees in the inspected centers. All seized products have been placed at the disposal of the competent authorities for analysis and appropriate legal actions.
