The municipality of Vidreres will celebrate its traditional Ranxo Festival and Carnival from February 14 to 17, 2026, a deeply rooted event combining popular culture, gastronomy, and activities for all ages.

The program will kick off earlier on Saturday, February 7, with the presentation of the Ranxo Tale, organized by the Comissió del Ranxo. The event will feature the writer Glòria Clapès and the illustrator Àlex Alegre, and will include a representation of the tale and distribution of hot chocolate.
Saturday, February 14, marks the start of Carnival with a permanent exhibition dedicated to the Ranxo at the Retirees' Home. In the afternoon, there will be a costume gathering, the proclamation by the Rei Carnestoltes, and a family parade with the Rei dels poca-soltes and the Vitraca batucada group, alongside a circus workshop and a concert by the vocal group Bon-Bon, presenting their album "30".
The specific activities of the Ranxo Festival begin on Sunday, February 15, with the traditional collection throughout the urban center and a vermouth concert by the acoustic duo Cris and The Tambourine Man. On Monday, February 16, the collection will be completed at the local farmhouses, followed by an inter-county adult costume contest and the Pajama Party.
The main day is Tuesday, February 17, featuring the preparation and blessing of the Ranxo. During the morning, attendees can visit the craft fair, enjoy sardanas with the Cobla Flama de Farners, and participate in the traditional auction. The day will culminate with the parade, the official tasting, the communal lunch, and the final dance with coca and muscatel wine.
