The giants and festive imagery will be the absolute protagonists of the Solsona Carnival, appearing daily in the streets of the Solsonès capital from February 12 to 18.

The celebration will officially begin on the afternoon of Thursday 12, when the figures make their first appearance before the arrival of King Carnestoltes. The program includes iconic moments such as the Drakaxanga at midnight and the children's giants' tests at U d'Octubre Square.
During the weekend, the activity will move to the Plaça Major. On Saturday 14, the traditional Ballets will take place following the proclamation of the Mata-ruc d'Honor, a sequence that will be repeated on Sunday to accompany local authorities.
Monday 16 will be dedicated to families with the Children's Carnival, where the smaller giants will take over at Plaça del Camp. The festival will conclude on Wednesday 18 with the final farewell of all the figures.
