The Solsona City Council has revealed the winners of the 50th Carnival Photography Contest, marking five decades of documenting one of Catalonia's most traditional festivals.

The top prize was awarded to Víctor Pisa for his work Bufolàndia, featuring the festival's iconic jesters. Other winners include Antoni Chaparro and Marià Jounou, who captured key moments such as the arrival of the Carnival King.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary, a special exhibition featuring all winning images from the last half-century is open at the Solsona Library until February 28, highlighting the cultural heritage of the Solsonès region.
