The Solsonès region will once again participate this year in the visitor management program for protected natural areas in Central Catalonia, with the deployment of eight environmental informers during the summer and autumn months.

These professionals will be responsible for covering sixteen riverine areas across various territories, with the primary goal of ensuring conscious and respectful use of these sites, which typically experience high visitor numbers. The initiative, as reported by the Solsonès Regional Council, aims to preserve ecosystem integrity while facilitating visitor access.
Key functions of the informers include welcoming and guiding visitors, disseminating environmental regulations and best practices, regulating access and parking to prevent overcrowding, and collecting relevant data. This information will be crucial for the continuous improvement of the management and conservation of the region's protected natural spaces.
