The El Morell City Council has opened the tender for the renovation of the western section of Maria Mercè Marçal Park, a project valued at 599,528.22 euros set for 2026.

The project aims to reorganize the existing green space with an inclusive and functional approach. The transformation will focus on creating a garden for play and social interaction, featuring distinct zones tailored for different age groups and activities.
Planned upgrades include quiet play areas such as sandpits and petanque courts, alongside dynamic fitness zones. To ensure year-round comfort, the design incorporates seasonal shading systems and improved landscaping to facilitate daily use and maintenance.

"With this project, we want to take a step forward in improving the municipality's public spaces, thinking of a friendlier and more versatile park."
