The Refugi 1 at Moll de Costa in Tarragona hosts from July 10 to August 23, 2026, the exhibition 'Boscos. Cartographies of Time and Gesture', curated by Màrius Domingo.

The exhibition, which premiered last summer at the Centre de Lectura de Reus, arrives at the Tarragona coast in an expanded version. It incorporates new spaces, new pieces, a look at the Poblet forest, and a video projection by artist Sílvia Iturria that enhances the immersive nature of the proposal.
Curated by writer and art critic Màrius Domingo, the project presents the forest as a form of thought. In a context marked by speed and digital saturation, the exhibition champions the forest territory as an invitation to slowness, contemplation, and drift as tools of resistance.
Each artist offers their own unique perspective: Teresa Felip works with fragility and memory; Angelika Kienzler investigates the deep links between matter, body, and nature; Joan Rehues explores the symbolic dimensions of landscape and sustainability; and Esteve Lerga addresses the transformation of the territory and the relationship between nature and culture.
The video creation by Sílvia Iturria adds a temporal and atmospheric dimension. The exhibition takes the resilience of the Poblet Mediterranean forest and the holm oak as a living metaphor for permanence and adaptation.
The Port of Tarragona, under its cultural brand, invites the public to enjoy this artistic experience at Moll de Costa, an opportunity to connect with local talent and reflect on nature.
