The 112 emergency hotline managed 186,387 operational calls in the Camp de Tarragona region throughout 2025, representing a 3% increase compared to the previous year.

This figure marks a historical peak for the region, showing a 16% rise since 2021. Calls from Camp de Tarragona accounted for 7% of the total volume in Catalonia. The Tarragonès district generated 55% of the alerts, while Baix Camp followed with 33%.
Medical assistance, security, and traffic incidents were the primary reasons for contacting the service. The Mossos d'Esquadra police force received the highest number of dispatches, followed by the Medical Emergency System (SEM). In Tarragona city, the Guàrdia Urbana handled over 9,300 alerts.
The busiest day of the year was August 18th, largely due to a wildfire in Fontscaldes. Other significant peaks occurred during the Sant Joan festivities and wildfires in Roda de Berà later in August.
