This initiative seeks to foster connections and opportunities among artists, managers, programmers, and other industry professionals. The program includes a selection of musical performances, with a notable number of premieres and new releases, complemented by activities in the PRO Area at Vila-seca Castle.
Professional activities are freely accessible to accredited individuals, although participation in meetings, mentoring sessions, and lunches requires prior registration. Accredited individuals will also receive a pass granting free and preferential access to all concerts and shows at the fair, extended to accompanying family members to facilitate work-life balance.
The program is tailored to different professional profiles, such as managers, programmers, creation support initiatives, and emerging artists, offering recommended itineraries to optimize the FiM experience. From May 7 to 9, 2026, the fair will host an extensive program designed to professionalize the music sector.
On Thursday, May 7, FiM will open with the 'Creation and Territory' program, which includes activities on artistic creation support, production, and exhibition, in collaboration with the Diputació de Tarragona and the Direcció General de Drets Culturals, Creació i Biblioteques de la Generalitat de Catalunya, and XarxaProd. The same day will feature a debate on accessibility to family shows, in collaboration with the TTP – Professional Association of Theater for All Audiences of Catalonia and the Catalan Academy of Music.
Friday, May 8, will feature the 'Catalan Arts!' day for emerging professionals, in collaboration with the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals. On Saturday, May 9, the 'I Am an Author' day for emerging artists will take place, organized with the Fundación SGAE through the Territorial Council of the General Society of Authors and Publishers (SGAE) in Catalonia, including a songwriting workshop with Quim Carandell from La Ludwig Band. The PRO program will conclude with a session of quiet meetings for family proposals, led by Fundació Xarxa.
The professional space once again includes the multifunctional marquee in the Castle Gardens, which will host activities and a meeting point to facilitate direct contact, the discovery of new projects, and the generation of collaborations. To ensure maximum participation, FiM has extended the registration deadline for activities until April 13.
FiM maintains its commitment to a low-impact, high-quality format, prioritizing a close and careful experience for professionals, with coherent schedules, accessible spaces, and dynamics designed to optimize contact and discovery. The fair is consolidating its position as an essential and anticipated event for the sector, maintaining its transversal vocation by incorporating family proposals and fostering intergenerational coexistence.
