A technical and police working group has been established, which will include representation from the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan Police) and the Local Police forces of Salou and Cambrils. Participation from the National Police and the Civil Guard is also planned.
This decision was made during a meeting held at the Government delegation in Tarragona. Attendees included the delegate, Lucía López, the mayor of Cambrils, Oliver Klein, and the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados. Also present were the director of territorial services in Tarragona for the Department of the Interior, Carlos López, and representatives from the aforementioned police forces.
All participants expressed their commitment to a policy of zero tolerance towards street vending. The aim is to work in a coordinated manner to plan and implement effective actions that contribute to eradicating this problem in the area.
