“"It has been a really special night, as we have achieved our 99th victory in X-Trial. Finishing the season with a victory makes me incredibly happy, so now we have to enjoy this wonderful moment. I am very proud of how we have managed my injury, and achieving so many victories is very impressive. Now, our next goal is the TrialGP World Championship. We start at Honda's home round in Japan, a race with a lot of pressure, so we will work hard to be as prepared as possible."

Trial rider Toni Bou achieved his 99th victory in the X-Trial World Championship at the event held in Tarragona, where he had already arrived as world champion.
The city of Tarragona hosted the final round of the X-Trial World Championship (indoor), where Piera-born rider Toni Bou once again demonstrated his supremacy. Despite having mathematically secured the world title last March in Chalon-sur-Saône, Bou took to the track determined to conclude the season with a win.
From the outset of the competition, the Repsol Honda HRC team rider displayed excellent form, navigating the six sections with a minimal penalty of just three points, which secured his spot in the final. In this decisive phase, Bou maintained a solid and error-free ride, prevailing over his season rivals, including teammate Marcelli and Jaime Busto.
This victory in Tarragona marks Toni Bou's 99th X-Trial career win, and his eighth of the season across nine rounds. With this new title, which solidifies his position as the world's best rider, Bou now boasts 39 world championships, combining both indoor and outdoor titles.
Born in Piera on October 17, 1986, Toni Bou is widely regarded as one of the most dominant athletes in motorsport history. After starting in bicycle trial and becoming world champion in 1999, he transitioned to motorcycles. Since 2007, he has maintained unprecedented hegemony, stringing together victories and championships with extraordinary consistency, making him the rider with the most world titles in history.
